Physical Properties- Any aspects of an object or substance that can be measured without changing it's identity.
5 Examples: Density, Color, Boiling Point, Mass, and Strength.

Chemical Properties- Any quality that can be established only by changing a substance's chemical identity.
5 Example: Flammability, Toxicity, pH balance, Heat of combustion and Electronegativity.
Heterogeneous: non-uniform distribution of components.
Example: kool-aid, air, water, soda pop,juice,carbon

Homogeneous: Composed of one phase only
Example: Chocolate chip cookie, gravel, dirt, soil, plants, rocks, seeds
